Beijing Union University, established upon the approval of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China in 1985, is a comprehensive municipal university of Beijing. One of the largest universities in the capital of China, BUU originated from over 30 branch campuses attached to such universities as Peking University and Tsinghua University. The past 30-odd years has witnessed its strikingly increased comprehensive strength as it grows and burgeons. Numerous disciplines including economics, law, pedagogy, arts, history, science, engineering, medicine, management and arts prop up one another. The complete talent-cultivating system focuses on undergraduate education while promoting the coordinated development in graduate education, higher vocational education, continuing education as well as international education.
